This book deserves a five because the author describes the way the protagonist, Kyle, feels in a way that teens can relate to.

Kyle remembers the shot, the gun, and the pool of blood, but not the details of the death of his best friend, Jason. Memories come back to Kyle in movie frames as he works through his grief and assumed guilt.
I found this book gripping and interesting as it worked through the process of discovering the truth.
