October this and that

What a great turn out for the Kite Building Workshop! Over 50 people came and built kites. Sadly the weather wasn't very cooperative, so we didn't fly them on Saturday as planned, but there is a group "SKY" (Sunday, Kites, and You) that is going to meet on Sundays, weather permitting, to fly at various venues. This coming Sunday (21st) they plan to go to Sister City Park above Pocatello Creek Rd. They will meet around 1:00pm.

Additionally if you built a kite at the workshop, you may remember that you didn't get any string.... The string finally arrived, and is available through the presenter, Micki Kawakami. If you contact me, I'll make sure you get your string. 232-1263 Ext. 28

MEANWHILE: TAG will be meeting today, Oct. 17, @ 4pm and again next Wed. the 24th. We are considering meeting weekly with a focus on the Creative Writing Group every other week.

DON'T FORGET: Feng Shui for TEENS on the 24th @ 6:30pm. Space is limited and registration is required.

See YA at the Library!
